Munich, December 12th 2024 – Vista has again partnered with Agroscope Switzerland for their testing of the effect of site-specific fertilization. As in the years before, Vista again provided it’s site-specific fertilization recommendation for the impact to be evaluated by Agroscope’s test.

For several years in a row the results have been very positive – for the farmer and for nature!

The site-specific fertilization tested by the Smart Technologies trial station also proved its worth in 2024:
Winter wheat yields increased by an average of 9 %️ compared to the operational variant️ Nitrogen surpluses decreased by 27 %.

The Smart-N project is being carried out in the cantons of Schaffhausen and Thurgau and is being actively supported by seven farms. The project will be continued in 2025.
